Bio

Adam Schrubbe is a Los Angeles-based producer and keyboardist whose musical style is a unique blend of jazz, neo-soul, and electronic. Coming up in the New Orleans/Gulf Coast music scene, Schrubbe’s philosophy towards music has always prioritized groove and personality as the key ingredients of a good song. Inspired by category-defying musicians like Marvin Gaye, Esperanza Spalding, Moses Sumney, and Björk, his music seeks to inspire others in turn to push the boundaries in their own creative expression.

His latest work with hip-hop artist Johnny B33 includes the dance-centric single “Fee Fi Fo Fum”, the politically-charged music video “Charlie Bit Me”, and a series of live band recordings with the Leo Sun Band.

The band, under the leadership of Schrubbe and Johnny B33, perform regularly in the LA area and frequently host jam sessions, providing a space for experimentation and exploration to their ever-expanding creative community.
